Duncan Long

This was a tiny, fun book. The cover was neat. The pacing was weird but I attributed it to how short the book was. I liked the imagery and the possibilities of each world! The world-building was rushed, but some series are like that in their second books. Sosu, the mouse creature in Jake's pocket, reminds me of the Boy Wizard series by Emma Watson because idk, he's a mouse whose person sticks him in his shirt pocket. The two have absolutely nothing in common otherwise. I won't read the rest of the series, but this was a nice way to pass the time.… (altro)
