A chicken named Hattie Peck wanted to become a mother so badly that she decided to go on a trip around the world to find abandoned eggs so that she could hatch them. Her journey took her to the depths of the ocean, through villages and cities, in dark caves, and even to mountain tops. When she believed she found every abandoned egg in the world she decided it was time to go home.
