I still chuckled a couple of times, but it wasn’t anything extraordinary. Maybe I shouldn’t have taken it in small doses instead of reading it all in one sitting. I also think I may have been expecting it to be like Hyperbole and A Half. 🤷🏽♀️

I often found myself smiling at the jokes and her sense of humor. I like that she added in some of her culture as well and even jokes about it to an extent; it made the book feel more personal. Overall I had such a good experience reading it and I like the messages it got across.

If you're a young artist, regardless of the medium, you'll see something of yourself in these panels.
I also appreciated the glimpse into how her life has been as she transitioned with her family to the states and back again - relatable and poignant stuff in sweet simple illustrations.
So happy I got a chance to read this and I've ordered some for my galpals for the Holidays.… (altro)
