This book was a very enjoyable read. The author did a great job of explaining boot camp, and I liked how he had quotes all through the book, both from the officers and the recruits from day one through graduation day.

Since my son was in boot camp at the time of reading it, it was even more interesting to me because it helped me understand better what he was going through. Reading the book was also valuable because on graduation day when my son discussed different things that had happened to him, I could understand what he was talking about and ask better questions than I would have otherwise if I had not read the book.… (altro)
