Emily has a little problem controlling her feelings... when her inner tiger feels unhappy it gets angry and she just has to ROAR! Both my little guys enjoyed this one (especially acting it out)! When Grammy comes, she confesses to Emily that she has an inner tiger too! Together they learn how to make their inner tiger happy in order to have more control over it when it starts to get angry. I loved that my 8-year-old was able to tell me not only the message of this book, but was able to relate it to his own life. THAT my friends is PRICELESS!… (altro)

Shrinking Sam di Miriam Latimer

What a great way to introduce young children to their feelings. Sam becomes smaller and smaller as he goes through his day, feeling ignored and dismissed by the bigger people around him. But he learns that it happens to others and that its okay. A few doses of love and caring from his family makes him feel like a giant!

Dear Panda di Miriam Latimer

Moving and going to a new school is one of those difficult things for many children. The lesson over shadows the story towards the end, but hey, it's about a girl and her panda friend. I want a panda friend, too.
