Savage's Honor is the 6th book in the Devil's Riot MC: Southeast chapter by E.C. Land. It's a second-chance romance that is a tear-jerker for sure. It made me go through all the emotions from anger to sadness to happiness and everything in between. Savage's Honor is not a book for the light of heart or those who don't like triggers because it's full of them. And it's the darkest in the series so far I think.
Savage is a member of the MC who has an unwanted attraction to Gunner's sister Honor. He knows she's off-limits so he uses any woman in front of him to try and forget her although it never works. Honor is a nurse at the local ER who's had a crush on Savage since she met him and after the last time Savage was in her ER, she started avoiding him until she couldn't. A few too many drinks lead to an unforgettable night that they will never forget for different reasons. It was the only heaven Honor would feel for a long time to come since the club enemies snatched her up to teach the club a lesson. Savage and the club manage to save her but the damage is done and she leaves to go to her cousin Glaciers who is in the Poseidon Warriors MC (Darlene Tallman series). That's where she starts spiraling and makes them swear not to tell Gunner. Her mental health is as low as it can get and she gets desperate to ease the pain until 3 months later when Savage can't take it anymore and goes after his woman.
I gave this a 5-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. Honor is an incredible woman who is stronger than she ever realizes and deserves to find happiness finally in her life after the hell she's been through. Savage started out as an ass for how he handled things but quickly learned his lesson and his past explained a lot. Savage really was the only one who could help Honor and understand what she was going through better than anyone else. I can't wait to read the next one after the bonus scene included at the end of this one!

E.C. Land gave us another winner with this one. Lucky's Streak is the 3rd book in the Devils Riot MC: Tennessee chapter series. This one is a second chance romance and for once I couldn't guess what was coming! And that just made it all the better for me.
Chelsea is Storm's bestie who came back with her from Colorado and decided to stay and work at the real estate company that Storm gave the club. Since she has been there she has done nothing but play pranks on Lucky and the club girls she sees him with. She's always been a trouble maker especially when Storm is with her but no one realizes she has ulterior motives this time for targeting Lucky. The club is also still having trouble with the Crimson Blood Clan and when Chelsea stumbles onto something she ends up deciding to try and help the club out. That backfires on her and has Lucky and her secrets coming out. This is so hard to write because I don't want to give away any spoilers but they play a major part in this entire book.
I gave this one a 4-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. I started reading this and couldn't put it down, laughing half the time. Chelsea is one hell of a girl and more power to her for standing up for herself. And Lucky man just how could he really be so stupid? Just like a typical man and figures oh the woman will take care of it. Shame on him. But I still love him anyway and he redeems himself in the end. I can't wait for Shiner's Light, the next book in the series.

E.C. Land's 5th book in her Toxic Warriors MC series is Maverick. This is a book about a strong survivor trying to find life again and learn to live with the betrayal and pain she's been through in her short life. And finds love along the way.
Maverick is the SAA of the Toxic Warriors and he was the one that saved Neveah from her cage of hell when the club went searching for Fawn who was taken. Neveah has been slow to trust again or attempt to live her life. She still hasn't wanted to see her family and lives with Maverick and Ryann. When the club gets a new celebrity client and Viking wants Neveah to feel him out it sets off a chain of events that no one saw coming. Before long Neveah is face to face with her family and has to tell everyone what actually happened to her and who took her. Not only are they targeting her but they are now targeting Maverick and the club. We learn about Maverick's background and where he's from and I have to say I didn't see that one coming but it shouldn't surprise me.
I gave this book a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating because it was exactly what I've come to love about the Toxic Warriors books. Neveah is a strong woman who is courageous for surviving what she has and Maverick is a warrior to stand by her side to protect her and keep her safe. These two are perfect together and it makes the book all the better for it. This book was left on a cliffhanger and next up will be Sabotage and Ryann's book.

E.C. Land has brought us Nine's Time, book #2 from her Devil's Riot MC: Tennessee Chapter series and it is awesome. The wait was definitely worth it. E.C. Land has a way of taking women with horrible pasts and tragic lives and turning them into these strengthful fierce warriors that face their pasts head-on. Of course, they have an alpha hottie next to them, encouraging them and she does it again in this book. I have met some of the best book characters in her books since I first started reading her series.
This book is about Nines who's the VP of the Devil's Riot MC and his life has been turned upside down when he is arrested and charged for a crime he didn't commit. At the same time, he meets Meadow. She is a woman who has lived a horrible life until she ran away and found someone she could trust that would protect her. She just opened a chic boutique in town and when she's invited to a bbq at the clubhouse. The second Nines meets Meadow there is an instant attraction. They can both see in each other's eyes that life hasn't been easy so far and they both are haunted. Meadow's never been able to trust a man before until Nines and he never thought he'd find the one. By Meadow meeting Nines her past comes back in full force unlike she ever thought it could. Meadow is family to the club and now that they know about her they vow to protect her. This book doesn't just have the MC's bikers, it has bikers from other chapters, the Romanian mob and even hired mercenaries. They all vow to protect Meadow from the trouble looking for her and they keep that promise. Does Nines get cleared of his false charges? Do they figure out who's behind setting him up? Will Meadow finally accept her new man and the new family she's been given?
I gave this book 5 stars because I don't know how it could be better. I started reading it and couldn't put it down. I was invested in the story and the characters almost immediately. This one does get a 3 spicy rating. It wasn't as steamy as I usually like but it didn't take away from anything. It was perfect for what Meadow needed. You don't have to love MC books to enjoy this book. This book is for anyone who likes to read about a woman finding her power and owning it. I hope at some point we might get a spin-off of Calyx and his hired mercenaries. I think that group could make for some good stories especially tied to the MC. Next up is Lucky's book and boy I can't wait. Chelsea is one of my favorite characters in the series and the pranks she pulls on Lucky. Man, she has it in for him. Or does she?
