Come Greenaway architetto regista Lanchester costruisce un mondo artefatto e ben congeniato dove il monologante protagonista raconta aneddoti e dipana la sua vita e la sua nevrosi attraverso la passione più grande: il cibo.
Si imparano molte cose leggendo "Gola" a volte si fatica nei paragrafi ma si va avanti. Aspettando il dolce che arriverà.
