Very funny, good plot and characters, and I love Scott Kurtz's deceptively simple art. The only problem is that there are several strips in this book that have been previously collected.

Useful for any regular, community-based endeavor.

Scott Kurtz continues to publish his fun PvP web comic, but now for Image Comics. The main difference between this book and the Dork Ages trade is that this collection is a reprint of Kurtz's web material in print form.

This was a good set of strips from Kurtz, involving the introduction of a potential love interest for Francis (who of course is a girl gamer who wipes the floor with him before he knows she's female) and Max Powers, old friend of Cole and Brent who is a threat to the way of life set up by our players.

I've always enjoyed the characters and their relationships in PvP, which is why I keep coming back to it when other web comics have lost my interest. I definitely recommend checking out this book, and this web comic.

I started reading PVP back around 2001/2002 when I got on a huge web comic kick. I think I found it through Penny Arcade, but I really can't remember now. Anyway, it was always one that I enjoyed.

Scott Kurtz published a series of comics through Dork Storm Press, this is the collected issues from that run. I like what Kurtz did here. Instead of republishing his web strips in book form, he actually played with the format of his strip and of comic books, even creating a really fun Matrix parody that I think is some of his best work.

This is a fun collection of work involving all the favorites of PVP. Definitely recommend this one for a read.
