Charles G. Koch was born in Wichita, Kansas on November 1, 1935. His alma mater is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology were received his B.S.in engineering and M.S. in mechanical engineering. He is co-owner, the chairman of the board and CEO of Koch Industries, Inc. (since 1967), based in mostra altro Kansas. He joined his father's company in 1961. Today, his company is the second-largest private company in the United States. Forbes named him the fourth wealthiest man in America. He employs over 100,000 people worldwide. Koch has won numerous awards for safety, environmental excellence, community stewardship, innovation, and customer service. There are two points that I did not like: (a) the book is essentially an employee handbook for Koch employees. The price is high for a book that is essentially an advertisement for the company (b) accessing the footnotes from the text in the book did not work on my Kindle. This made it cumbersome to check the footnotes used.
Finally, it is useful to separate any judgment of the book from the controversial political opinions of its author.… (altro)
