As I prep for my trip to Alaska this summer, this is the best book I've come across about all the roads to ride, from Dirt to Pavement. It even covers a some rides in the Yukon and NW Territories. Extremely well written and thorough. It is as indispensable as the Milepost.
A different kind of garage book. There are the requisite drool garages, but also just storage places, many motor cycles and very interesting bios on the owners ant their structures.

Yes, you can find a lot of this info online by visiting the various long distance rider forums. But by starting with the book, you can focus your online searches (and avoid rabbit holes). Worthy of both print and ebook purchase.
