One of my very favorite books on the making of handbound books, with a variety of techniques both familiar and exotic, easy and complex. It is a treat just to look at the pictures of the samples, which were created by a wide range of artists from a wide range of materials. But don't stop with looking! The instructions are clearly written and cogently illustrated, so that instead of fretting about the mechanics of the bookmaking, you can create beautiful works of artistry that are also practical as books.… (altro)
