There's nothing in this book that you haven't heard before. The best part was the pictures.

This story goes through the day of a ballerina. It starts with her waking up, getting ready, practicing, and then getting ready for a show at the end of the day.

This story was not one of my favorites. It could be good to use when talking about different careers or lives of different people. It did however seem a little boring to me when it was just going through different times. Example: 8:00 she got out of bed and got dressed and packed her lunch. 8:15 she walked to the studio, etc.

This ballet story offers the reader example of determination, hard work, and some ballet vocab. That a swan is the main character is cute. The illustrations are nice. The story's a little clunky... it feels a little forced, but I know there are students in our school who will enjoy it.
