The jokes in this comic book start with the hero’s name, Lester Girls and form an ironic, tongue-in-cheek tone consistent throughout. This is definitely a quick, fun read, with none of the “let’s spread the story out through twelve volumes” action that you get with some Manga. Although the series doesn’t end, each sub-story concludes.

A hoot of a book, this is what might have happened if, in a heroic effort to save the "Leave It To Beaver" show from cancellation, famous authors had submitted scripts. Hilarious, sometimes ribald and true to the styles of the authors, each submission includes the producers' "reactions".
