This is a great picture book for children! It shows the gospel message beginning with creation and continuing the thread until the Resurrection in an easy to understand way for children. Beginning with Adam and Eve, continuing through Israelite history and then the time of Jesus, the same lesson is repeated: instead of following God’s way, people want to go their own way. But God had a plan…Jesus. It ends with how people today still don’t do what God wants but that Jesus will come again and make the world good and right. Even though it’s targeted towards 4-8 year olds, I think this book can help explain the gospel to kids of any age. It packs a ton of information into a forward moving text that keeps little ones focused and engaged. The illustrations are colorful and engaging and can be used to start a discussion to add to the text. I love this book and think it would be a great addition to any family library.
