I loved this book and everything about it. It starts off with Elena going on a blind date her best friend Topher set up for her, she honestly doesn’t want to go but hey she is horny so why not? She spots the guy that is supposed to be her blind date and sits down with him and starts to babble without giving him a chance at an introduction, so needless to say this guy ends up not being her guy. I was laughing the whole time she was babbling away to poor Jack who had no clue who this chick was and was wondering if she was press or just plain crazy. Jack is a famous football quarterback with a not so good reputation and social anxiety like no other. I loved him immediately because he was not a bad guy he was constantly misunderstood, and no one wanted his side of things because he kept his life very personal. Jack had a rough childhood and then later was burned by his ex-Sophia who wrote a tell all novel that was all lies, so his trust does not come easy if at all. Then Elena is still upset with Jack for not telling her the truth to who he was but the more time they spend together the more their attraction becomes evident and they can’t stay away from each other. Elena finds herself falling hard for Jack and she knows if he won’t let her in will this thing between them last or will Jack’s insecurities and trust issues end things before, they even get started? A fantastic read and I hope we get more.… (altro)
