Delightful first introduction to the subject of Asperger’s syndrome by pairing it with something as familiar and reassuring as cats. The pictures are accompanied by easy-to-read text that explains an aspect or trait associated with Asperger’s syndrome.

This book is good for pretty much all ages, it is a picture book so children can use it but also high school age and under can use this book because it deals with anxiety which is an important topic for middle-high school age groups. This book is about birds and how they experience symptoms of anxiety as well, it kind of takes the idea of anxiety and applies it to birds and how it is okay and there are ways to cope with it. In a classroom I would use this to make students feel safe and to not be ashamed if they have anxiety, but also allow them to gain information about classmates who may be dealing with anxiety.… (altro)

This book is appropriate for kindergarten-2nd grade. It's about how anxiety affects people and helpful, healthy ways to cope if you struggle with anxiety. I thought this book was really insightful and a cute way to explain anxiety to younger students using animals. I would read this to my students for mental health awareness and discuss more healthy ways to conquer anxiety.

This book is for primary aged students. This story is a nonfiction piece about anxiety and what to mean for kids to encounter anxiety and the issues that accompany it. This book makes an important connection between an interesting topic--animals or birds--an a significant issue that many students want to learn about and can identify with.
