Every Man a Menace: A Novel di Patrick Hoffman

Israeli soldiers emigrate to the U.S., become nightclub owners/drug traffickers, there’s violence, action, lots of blood and murders, plenty of sex, and a decent plot. If this book were a movie, it would be on the USA channel. It’s not literary fiction, and it’s not going to be remembered for years, but, its a good story, and entertaining. A summer read for Crime Story lovers.

Every Man a Menace: A Novel di Patrick Hoffman

A great modern pulpy crime thriller. According to the bio on the book jacket, Hoffman worked as a private investigator in another life. His experience as a PI informs the violence and paranoia that fills the story, but its the high of voyeurism — of dropping in on the lives and inner thoughts of Hoffman's numerous characters — that keeps you reading.
