I love this author! I hope the library gets more of him soon, I want to read his style more. Write more, Mr. Hime!!!
seemed to drag on a bit, in the middle. I'm a little frustrated, so maybe it was me and not the book.. but I had a hard time finishing it.

Retired Texas Ranger Captain Jeremiah Spur accepts a job to track an embezzler from a major Texas company owned by a former CIA assassin who will not meet with him. The carrot dangled is too tempting to refuse. Deputy sheriff Clyde Thomas is in and out of uniform during a narcotics war in their small ranching community. The investigations begin to overlap on the drug-way across Texas. 4 stars & wish it were 5. It is another great book by Hime set in Texas with interesting complex characters but I kept wishing for a white board (such as detectives use to keep persons of interest and corollary items straight in their minds).… (altro)
