Really outstanding reproductions of the work in a show I attended at the High Museum in Atlanta, which is an instance of hie Profile Series. As I understand from the show, there are specific periods covered, and there are comments on the pieces by Bearden, as well as a timeline, etc. Great show, and the book is a way of studying individual pieces that was not possible at the show due to lighting, crowds, distance from the piece, etc.
