Crater on Moon named in her honor - Breve biografia
- Caroline Lucretia Herschel was a German-born astronomer and the sister of Sir William Herschel, King George III's astronomer. The two siblings worked together throughout their careers in England. Individually, Caroline discovered several comets (including 2 that bear her name) and received a gold medal from the Royal Astronomical Society in 1828. A crater on the moon was also named in her honor.

(altro)
