Review: Lord of the Flies is a book about a plane full of school children that crashland on an island. This book reminds me of many survival books like Hatchet. This made for a very interesting read, as I did not know what would happen next. The boys quickly elect a leader, but eventually turn on him.
Summary: A plane full of boys crashland a plane on an island. The boys elect a leader named Ralph. Ralph declares a hunt leader named Jack. The boys light a signal fire using a boy named Piggy's glasses. The huntsmen eventually turn against Ralph, who then hides in the forest. The huntsmen smoke him out of the forest by setting it ablaze. Whilst on the beach Ralph meets a naval officer, whose ship spotted the burning forest and came to the rescue. The whole group sobs at how savage they were.… (altro)
