Breve biografia
Greg's expertise as an interrogator first earned him honors with the United States Army. More recently, it has drawn national level intelligence organizations and international media to seek his insights about “how to” as well as “why.” He graduated from the U.S. Army Interrogation School, the Anti-Terrorism Instructor Qualification Course, the Principle Protection Instructor Qualification Course, and SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) school. His skills as an expert interrogator earned praise while he served as SERE Instructor, Operational Interrogation Support to the 5th Special Forces Group during operation Desert Storm, Interrogation Trainer, and as a creator and director of several joint-force, multi-national interrogation exercises. Among his military awards is the Knowlton Award. Greg has trained government agencies, private investigators, lawyers, human resource representatives, and finance experts to read people and detect deception. He has provided expert analysis for major network and cable television in areas as diverse as deception and trial analysis. Greg provides analysis and insight for radio and prime print media such as The Washington Post and New York Daily News.

Greg created simulations of interrogation for British television in Torture: The Guantanamo Guidebook, and for the History Channel in We Can Make You Talk. He also contributed to the 2012 documentary Neurotypical. Greg has worked as a business consultant to Fortune 500 Companies in the US and major companies abroad. He teaches and consults on the use of Extreme Interpersonal Skills© in daily business applications and is an author of seven books including How to Spot a Liar, and The Most Dangerous Business Book You'll Ever Read

Fascinating subject. Think that teaching how to read body language would be easier to demonstrate in real life than in a book. I bet this guy is one fascinating trainer. His knowledge just does not translate into book format as much I would like.

Liked but did not love. It seemed like he added in a lot of stuff that was interesting but wasn't helpful; it just made me feel more like he was saying "this is impossible to learn to do, but here's a lot of fun facts." Maybe this works better in its classroom form.

Of the books I've read on this topic, this one is the most practical and understandable. The co-authors simplify the concepts as underlying principles, while always pointing out the habitual and physiological factors that prevent anyone from becoming a perfect predictor.
