I really loved this book. It was short and sweet, but jam packed with great Christian advice and Bible verses for daily life. The author is very candid, genuine and admits her mistakes. It is a great read! She also has a FB group and a blog, among other social media.

Before trying to be a good Christian woman, I never had truly possessed any faithfulness to the Lord; I had been a secular woman. However, since I began trying to be a good Christian when I began writing my Christian blog, my faithfulness is now an attribute of my ever-increasing relationship with the Lord. Along with this came my passion for sharing the words of the Lord through my blog posts.

Being the Christian woman I’ve become since publishing my first two Christian books, I’ve learned that when we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, with that, the Holy Spirit becomes permanently present in our lives. We will receive what is written in GALATIANS 5:22-23 [NLT]:

[22] “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
[23] gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”

While learning to understand the words of the Lord for oneself might be easy, talking about to others is a horse of a different color since it needs to be done cohesively. These days I’ve got no qualm regarding sharing the words of the Lord through my blog. In fact, sharing them has increased my faith exponentially as I now feel fulfilled in my life as a Christian woman more than ever.

In this compilation by Heather Hart, the 20+ women in it share their testimonies of how faith and the gospel have impacted and changed their lives. At the end of each chapter, readers are asked to answer certain interactive questions about the chapter creating a sort of conversation or talk regarding faith. This gets followed by a biblical implication of the essence of the chapter for readers.

For wanting to transform the spiritual lives of her readers by showing them that they’re not alone in what they’re facing in terms of faith in the Lord and of the gospel through this compilation, I’m giving Ms. Hart 5 STARS for her endeavor here.

Let's be truthful; one of the main things that many of the things that women, especially teenage girls, are concerned about deals with vanity and how beautiful they look when they present themselves to others.

But as the Christian women that we are, shouldn't we realize that this is of no intrinsic value in the eyes of the Lord, but a sense of humility is; which is what we find when reading 1 PETER 3:3-4 [NKJV]:

[3] "Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—"
[4] "rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God."

Also, in reading about humility, we need to recall that PROVERBS 22:4 [NKJV] informs us that:

"By humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches and honor and life."

And when we read PROVERBS 31:30 [NKJV], we get reminded that:

"Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised."

One of the best descriptions in scripture regarding how the Lord looks at us as the women we are gets found in 1 SAMUEL 16:7 [NKJV]:

"But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."

As Christian mothers, you've experienced what your daughters are experiencing in their young lives right now, especially involving the peer pressures she's facing. You also already know about the power of the prayers that we offer the Lord according to our needs. This is why authors Heather Hart and Shelly Hitz have combined their prowess regarding the power of prayer to inspire their young Christian readers to become the Christian women the Lord wants them to be and learn first-hand the power of praying to the Lord. And for doing this, I've given this and its authors 5 STARS.

For starters, being a 70-year-old nondenominational Christian woman, the book's title brings to my mind, ISAIAH 41:10 [NKJV]:
"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

Followed by ROMANS 8:31 [NKJV]:
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

These Scriptures, I believe, form the basis of what Ms. Hart desires to communicate to her young teenage Christian girl readers regarding several essential questions they might possess about their lives. So, in reviewing this book, I need to become a young teenage Christian girl again.

When I was a teenager, growing up, I'd wondered to what extent does the Lord love me, especially when I'm considering the events happening around me all the time, making me ponder whether He wants me to be happy or sad and downtrodden. The interactive way the book has been written guides my Christian teenage girlfriends and me through a question and biblical Scriptural answer dialogue presenting to us and our young Christian minds knowledge of the extent to which our Lord and Savior love and desires to save us, and the meaning of all this.
