This is the 3rd. book in the Liskeard quartet, but these stories are great as stand alone novels and I'm looking forward to reading the first and fourth.

Set in 60's Norfolk, Jack Thurgo is holidaying alone before his marriage. He comes across a fatal car accident and recognises the survivor, although he is known by another name by someone else.
What follows is a disconcerting investigation to get some answers.
A great mystery.
