While the illustrations look computer generated, I think the message of this story, and the others by the same author are important. I would like to find more books with these families and stories shown, but without the sort of corny illustrations.

This is a short story about how much a single mother does for her child/ren. I grew up with a single mother so I relate to this book a lot. This would be a good book to have in class for students to see as well, there are other books about single fathers and adoption as well that would be good for a classroom.

This book was about a boy names Adam and his family. Him and his little sister were adopted. Adam's friend Lenny from school came home with him one day and learned all about Adam's family. He took pictures of Adam's family and things that they did around their house.

Books that discuss the importance of diversity, love, family, acceptance, and so much more are great books to read to young children. I feel that this book is a friendly way of introducing blended families.
