Some interesting points, I like the lemon water everyday. Short chapters and easy to follow information. And yes there are a lot of chemicals in our food, tasty, tasty chemicals....

This is so full of pseudoscience and lies that it's not worth your time or money. The author has no background in food science or even science at all. She hawks products on her website that are full of the stuff she says you shouldn't eat. And she thinks cellulose is bad. CELLULOSE. Which considering she's hawking so many recipes full of veggies then she's eating cellulose. Cellulose is the main structural component of green veggies and green plants. Sure, there is cellulose that is manufactured but that's not what's in food or eaten by humans. She's made up a bunch of lies to fearmonger and get people to buy her products she's hawking.

Don't support her in anyway. Don't buy this book.

I'm a sucker for nutrition books! This one is a bit over dramatic for me but I like the information and will finish it. I do question some of her statistics and studies, though. For example, what does it mean that America's IQ has gone down 41 million points?

And she really trounces on other diet plans without giving all of the details. Why do diet books have to be the only RIGHT way and put others down? It makes me question what I am reading even more.

I will admit that I didn't read every word in this book; lots of skimming. I'm already familiar with many of its points from seeing posts by the Food Babe on Facebook.. When I first saw these posts I was very impressed by her ability to take on the Big Food Industry for all the toxins they put in processed food. If you are someone who hasn't already given up most processed food and started eating real food, mostly organic, then you will learn some things from reading this book.
The book presents a 21-point, 21-day approach to cleaning up your body and your eating habits including drinking warm lemon water in the morning; cutting back on dairy; eliminating soda, refined sugar, GMOs, and fast food; cooking more at home; and eating organic. It also contains a much shorter 21-day menu plan and recipes to accompany the other changes she recommends.
For some of her points she seems to have science to back up her recommendations. Unfortunately, other recommendations are just presented as "do this because I do it and say it's good for you" rather than because it is backed by sound science.
The plan essentially comes down to: (1) give up processed food and GMOs and (2) eat mostly organic. So if you are already doing those things you won't learn much new from this book.
