I really liked this book. When I first looked at the cover, I was not sure how it would appeal to young children. However, this is an awesome book for a young child to have when traveling. One thing I loved about this book was how it was set up. The entire book was split up between chapters. The chapters were, "Count the cows?, Round the family and Rhyming Games, Grab a pen and Paper, and Settle in!, Be a road Detective, Read-Alouds, Sing-Alongs, and Go Creative." Throughout each chapter, the pages were set up with bolded print and different sections with subtitles. It was a very easy read. There were also vocabulary words and facts in the margins that was very helpful. Another aspect I loved about this book was that it was very interactive. It asked questions throughout and had many activities that would keep someone preoccupied while traveling. The main idea of this book is to create a fun and interactive way to allow young children to connect to the places they travel. Whether that is by playing games, looking out for certain places and objects, etc.… (altro)
