This book had such potential. Sadly, despite how engaging parts of it were it quickly lost all luster. This is a bummer because as I mentioned there truly were some great moments. Too many plot lines, a lack of plausibility, and a rush to complete the book left too many areas needing to be flushed out. I think had this concentrated on one main area and let the relationship grow that this could have been a success.

Even though this wasn't for me, I am sure there are many others out there that will enjoy this book.… (altro)

"Landing the Runaway" by J. Haney & S. I. Hayes

My Opinion:

"Landing the Runaway" was a good read featuring Jaiden and Gatlin. Jaiden is being forced into an arranged marriage, and she runs away from her manipulative grandmother. We find Jaiden running into Sirs's [Gatlin] arms where he can finally give Jai what she has been asking for...and what was that...' domination, submission, disciple, spankings along with some heavy sexual scenes.' Will Gatlin be able to fulfill her need? To find out all of the answers to these questions, you will have to pick up 'Landing The Runaway' to see how it comes out for Jaiden and Gatlin.

However, the manipulative grandmother Evangeline has someone still looking for Jaiden. Will she be found? In the end, there will be a need for more of the story as the reader will be given a cliffhanger, so we will have to wait to get the rest of the story of what happens to Jaiden and Gatlin.… (altro)

"Shafted" by S.I. Hayes & J. Haney

My Opinion:

'Shafted' was a good read about how things can go in a small town as it did for Willow and Reid. Willow coming back to her hometown after ten years, will she be prepared for will lives ahead for her? What will happen after her friend Jasper talks Willow into coming back home to her school reunion and she runs into the one person she wanted to avoid? Get ready for a fun read, and the reader will meet some exciting characters that will give one a good that will keep one turning the pages to see what was coming next. I will say I loved all of the characters except for that ex-finance. Be ready for a story that will dwell on several issues besides Willow and Reid, but all come together, giving the readers one good story. In the end, will these one-time lovers be able to work it all out, or 'will the whole relationship simply get the 'Shaft?' This is where I say you will have to pick up 'Shafted' to see how it all comes out.… (altro)
