Michelle McKinney Hammond

I finally finished this book! It took me forever to read this book because I found that I had to apply each section to the different steps in my life as I survive my own crisis. I want to "get over it and on with my life" but this isn't a book you read from start to finish in one setting. I found that I needed to work through the sections as I went through my own crisis stages. I think it is one of the best self-help Christian books available. The author is very down to earth and shares her own experiences. I also enjoyed her biblical references and exploring different characters in the bible as they dealt with life issues and dramas. Study questions are also included at the end of each section to help the reader apply the lessons to their own situation and move towards picking up the pieces in order to move forward.
