Stephan Haggard, visiting fellow, is a professor at the University of California, San Diego Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies and is an adjunct in the Department of Political Science. In July 1997 he became Director of the University of California's systemwide Institute mostra altro on Global Conflict and Cooperation, where he chairs the Northeast Asian Cooperation Dialogue. He has been a consultant to AID, the World Bank, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, and the OECD and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
