David Grossman was born in Jerusalem on January 25, 1954, is an Israeli author of fiction, nonfiction, and youth and children's literature. His books have been translated into many languages. He is most known for his non-fiction work, The Yellow Wind. This is his study of the Palestinians in the mostra altro Israeli-occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip. He was awarded the Prime Minister's Prize for Hebrew literature (1984) and the Israeli Publishers Association Prize for best Hebrew novel (1985). Con tutti i periodi della vita che c'erano..mi capita di leggerlo proprio ora. E' servito, perché l'ho molto ricondotto a cose reali.
Paradossalmente, dato che è alquanto paradossale come romanzo.
Inizialmente me lo immaginavo del tutto differente, e a volte la mancanza della voce "della risposta" mi mancava molto..un po' come se fosse un eterno monologo.
L'idea è meravigliosa.
Però le quattro stelle vanno probabilmente per la descrizione del personaggio principale che è riuscito ad irritarmi e non poco.
La scrittura è carina e ben curata ma, sinceramente, a volte me lo sono visto troppo rozzo.
Avrebbe potuto essere più idilliaco..ma forse così avrebbe perso la sua genialità.
Però, un gran bel libro.
Credere in ciò che non ci si aspetta.… (altro)
