I am not going to rate this book, lets just say it wasn't for me. It seemed flippant and childish, i just couldn't get in to it.
This is a hard one. I loved the originality of the story when I read the blurb. Well, to be honest, that is where the originality stopped. I had a hard time getting into this book...
The story just delves right into it. Wham, bam, everything evolves so fast I almost had whiplash! That's not a good thing, necessarily. The first part of the book felt like a rushed version of at least four other books I have read, aside from the stripper part. I had to force myself to continue.
I am partly glad I did continue. The story gets better. There is no denying Jade and Knox have a strong attraction. The key is to move past that attraction and have a real relationship. We know how hard that is in books. It's what we expect. The story is a little mundane at parts, but once you get past the rushed beginning, it does get better. The drama keeps the book going. For those who like sex, the sex will keep you going. There is more than an ample amount of sexual situations.
Overall, this book is average. There isn't really anything that strongly stands out to make it a book of its own kind.… (altro)

Cassie is an orphan who is kidnapped, Jesse's mother was murdered and he is on the hunt for her murderers. You could have a very long book on that but yet the question asked in the summary is basically answered in the first chapter which leaves you nothing after that. The writing is fast paced nut did nothing to engage me.
