I can't believe it's book three already! I've fallen in love with Dr Rosen over the course of the other two books, and I was excited to see what this installment had in store for her. The mystery in this one is both captivating and heartbreaking - young patients put at risk, and Dr Rosen left trying to figure out why - and who's behind it. It was so easy to get wrapped up in the story that I was halfway through before I paused, and even then I was reluctant to take a break from reading it. I loved the humanizing aspect of Dr Rosen's personal life that's woven in with the main story. Highly recommend the series as a whole!… (altro)

Greene has done it again. This time, a bombing sets off Erica's race to save a kid and his missing classmates. Greene does a great job of bringing the story to life, and keeping the reader on the edge of their seats as the story progresses. I enjoyed getting to see some of Erica's personal life intertwined with the main terrorist plot line. It made her feel all that more real. There is plenty of action packed into this book, and really there isn't much of a dull moment between the book's covers. Highly recommend for those who enjoy thrillers!… (altro)

This was a great medical thriller. It has intrigue, edge-of-your seat moments, and medical/genetic advancements that, if they're not already possible, are probably in the not-so-far-off future. Greene made it seem so realistic that I had chills running down my spine just thinking about it. Erica is a great heroine, and she has such a big heart, it's hard not to like her. My heart really went out to Ting and her situation, and I love that Erica was so determined to help her, even with the mounting danger around them. If you enjoy medical thrillers, you'll quickly find yourself wrapped up in this one.… (altro)
