Traveler in the Dark (Ex Situ, #1) di Deirdre Gould

I wanted to like this book, the nonhuman viewpoint in the beginning was interesting, as was the premise revealed. It also looked like the author was capable of not making plot errors left and right like so many others I've seen. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent the alien robot was the only one with a functional mind. The human characters are not what they should be, juvenile, no judgment, fearful, and just not rational, and there are some plot errors related to that. I quit about 25% into the book, but maybe I'll try again next year.

After the Cure di Deirdre Gould

Pretty good, a little too much romance, for the subject. What happens after the zombies are cured? Interesting.

After the Cure di Deirdre Gould

New author for me. The story was an enjoyable read (if you like the horror/thriller/end of the world type of story). Some parts were predictable but others caught me off guard. I can't say it is 5 stars but it is good enough that I have added Deirdre Gould to my 'Authors to read' list.

Great book!

Well developed characters, fantastic pacing and thought provoking.
One of the first real page turners for me for some time.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this series progresses.
The only negative - and I agree with another reviewer - is the swapping from first name to last name for the same characters without the book introducing them with both names originally. This makes it confusing in some early parts.
