Published by Troll Associates in 1980, as part of their First-Start Easy Reader collection, Three Little Witches utilizes forty-eight different words to tell its simple tale, with a list of some of the more common ones presented at the beginning of the book. It's a fun little book, with alliteratively named witches and simple, cartoon-like artwork in one or two colors. Although I never encountered it as a young girl myself, growing up in the 1980s, I am glad to have stumbled across it now, given my interest in witchy picture-books and early readers. Recommended to any young witches or witch-lovers who are just beginning to read.… (altro)
