Engaging little book which collects together some of the myth and magic about the properties of various trees and flowers.

This tiny book is cute and the images are nicely reproduced but unfortunately, with the exception of crediting the cover art as from Heideloff's Gallery of Fashion the source of the images is not disclosed. As many of the images date well into th e19th Century they cannot all be Heideloff. I would approach this book with caution if it were to be use for dating costume, as a pretty little book it is fine.
