I love the prompts: not too restrictive, either for genre or style; lovely layout with nice font (it's always nice to have a pretty book, less distracting); nothing too long or tract-like. Just simple, inspiring ideas when you don't know where to start.

An essay/workbook for women during pregnancy, includes thought-provoking poetry, memoir, and fiction about the nine months, covering fears, joys, anticipation, humor, as much of the gamut as those months offer. Features yours truly in the essay, "Science Project." My first publication.

This book is great. It works really well for writers on those days when they want to write but have no idea how to get started or don't feel like working on a project. It's also a fabulous resource for secondary teachers of writing.
