Just as the title suggests, this book is about a divorced family. Katie's parents have recently gotten a divorce, and Katie is trying to adjust to her new life where she does not get to see her dad all the time. She is worried about how will she see him if he lives separate from her and her mom and she is sad because her mom is sad. This book does a great good job with capturing character emotions. At the end of the story the Katie dad's reassures her that even though they live apart now, they will see each other every Saturday. I picked this book to get a sense of how a young girl feels living between two parents. This was research for my children's book.… (altro)
