Excerpts from Green Beans and Tambourines by the author have ideas for "Great Gardening Projects," "Scrumptious Summertime Recipes," and "Fun and Games." There are a bunch of good craft ideas and activities for young children; some are good for all ages. The comb-kazoo---fold a piece of wax paper around a clean comb with the edges of the paper against the "toothy side" and blow---sounded the most interesting to me. The ingredients include not only the wax paper and comb, but also a favorite tune to play on the new kazoo. Good ideas for teachers and parents.… (altro)
