A useful disccussion how to use this device. The 18 page "Smart Chart" suggest the correct disc or blade to slice, grate or chop most common ingredients. The book features recipes in which a food processor might be use to deal with some ingredients. In a few instances, it may be to mince garlic or chop onions. This points to some of the drawbacks of using a power device for prepping ingredients while cooking at home - it will not handle small amounts; it may overprocess; it has to be ingredients. There is a recipe with a hazard warning - chopping raw horseradish. There are about 170 pages of recipes for batter and dough. A food processor can do this, but there are many other books about baking. There are many other ways of finding recipes.… (altro)

After buying a new fancy processor, I searched for the perfect teaching book. This is it! Now I see a new edition just now available. Have ordered it....
