I read this book because Kendra Adachi told me to. But seriously.

I feel that this book would be better for readers who are facing major life change in their immediate futures. I’m not really at that point, so I guess it’s partly on me for reading this at a time when it’s not as relevant to me. However, in my defense, the title and subtitle give an unclear picture of what this book deals with. In my mind, I expected to learn how to let go of people, or how to literally and physically enter or leave a room with confidence in regard to any given situation. I never fully bought into the “rooms” analogy EPF creates here.

All that said, I can see this being helpful for other people at other times.

Some good nuggets here, but I’m realizing EPF is not really my jam.

Writing this on an ordinary Tuesday. I began both this book and today at 6 AM with great promise and possibility, but as my day and this book wore on, I realized not much was happening. Maybe that’s the point of the book? I don’t know, because much like this review, it was filled with tortured metaphors and used a lot of words to say very little until I finally gave up (on the book, not the day). Would be a great blog post or podcast episode!
