A lot of information and energy is packed in this first part of Chloe and Jaxons story. You get a good sense of their identities and what brought them to this moment in their lives.
I enjoyed the story very much. It was a fun and quick read. There is humor, passion and a bit of mystery infused throughout the story.
The erotic scenes, though short, are persuasive and steamy. Jaxon has wanted Chloe since he joined her pack. Now is his only chance to show her what he can do for her and get what he wants.
Now the negatives.
#1. A couple of editing errors. I only caught 2 and they are at the beginning of the story.
#2. It needed to be just a few pages longer to add more complexity and depth to the personalities of the main characters and more intensity to the erotic scenes.
The good news....
This is free right now on Amazon, which is great. Better yet, the sequel, 'The Alpha's Mate' is also free on Amazon right now! I have already downloaded it and will read it later today.… (altro)

I enjoyed it very much. The characters are interesting, though they are not very complex. Jaxson seems a bit unobservant when it comes to the female tension going on around him.
Chloe seems a bit to unsure of herself. However, these things seem to work out for the story.
There is mystery and suspense. Great love scenes. A touch of humor. Action and adventure.
And a great ending to Chloe and Jaxson's story. Even though there are some editing errors, it is a very fun read!
I found 2 more in this series. They way they are listed though, it can be complicated to find them. The titles are, 'The Alpha's Justice (Huntsville Pack #2)' and 'The Alpha's Fight: Huntsville Pack Book 3'. They appear to be connected by the town that Chloe and Jaxson live in, which is Huntsville, Tennessee. Both are listed on Amazon for 3.99 ea. and they are all standalones.… (altro)

Adult Erotic Fantasy Romance Suspense Short

I would have loved this story if it had been a full length novel! From the way Irish and Lorena meet to the very end is filled with mystery and suspense. It's like a mystical explosion. The intensity is off the charts. Unfortunately it is only about 20 pages long.
I only found 1 typo at the very beginning.
This would have made a great series.

I have a feeling this author is going to end up in my 'Author Rejected' shelf. This makes the 3rd book of hers I have read.
The story line is interesting, but there are typos/editing errors and a variety of problems throughout.
The most annoying problem in this one is the sentence structure.
Also her descriptions of various actions and scenes are questionable.

Example: 'The hard wood was made soft by his hands.'

It does not make sense. This is a sample of something that happens often in this story.

There is rambling throughout the story.

I have 3 more of her books. I'm going to give them a try. But at this point I don't have high hopes.
