Andrew Forbes graduated in Chinese Studies at the University of Leeds before going on to complete an MA in Islamic Studies and a Ph.D. in Central Asian History. He first visited the Maldives in 1976 and has travelled extensively throughout the archipelago, including a four-month period collecting mostra altro traditional artefacts for the Museum of Mankind in London. Forbes has written about the Maldives for numerous academic journals such as South Asia, Archipel, Geographical magazine and the Encyclopaedia of Islam. DK Eyewitness Travel Guide: Malaysia & Singapore di Ron Emmons

I have always liked the DK Eyewitness Travel Guides and Malaysia and Singapore is no exception. With plenty of full-colour maps, illustrations, and photos, I found this guide invaluable in planning a trip to Malaysia and its detail on Singapore and Brunei made me wish to go there too.

Not only does it have detailed guides for major towns and attractions therein, this guide has historical and cultural information on Malaysia along with useful information concerning money, emergency services, and the language.… (altro)
