Wing F. Fing

Some believe this is a Tom Robbins book. Why then, Robbins wouldn't step forward and take credit for this funny, entertaining ride through self proclaimed "Dr" Wing Fings' theory of becoming "happy" is a mystery. Disguised as a self help book, this novel starts by the simple proclamation that the path to happiness is by just saying "yes" to everything as the narrator finds himself cornered in a gay bar. He goes on to recruit disciples for his new found philosophy who treat him as "master", and are willing to turn their minds, hearts (and cash) over to him. This is a twisted, often educating, book that certainly would be more known had it not had "fuck" in the title. Perhaps Fing wanted it that way.....… (altro)
