8 year old MacKenzie Foster trains and competes in rhythmic gymnastics in New York City. The book follows her as she appears in a competition, performs on the Today Show and meets famous gymnasts such as Shannon Miller, Dominque Dawes and coach Bela Karolyi. Very cute, photogenic girl but there is a lack of coverage of rhythmic gymnastics. Occasionally the narrative launches into adult phrasing that a kid would not use. Confused about who Veronica was in picture and who else was in group photo.
Summary:
Mckenzie is a seven year old girl who's favorite thing to do is gymnastics. She talk about and demonstrates six different forms of gymnastics and what she likes abut each one.
Personal Reaction:
I loved this book because my two daughters who are ages 16 and 17 years have been tumbling in cheerleading and gymnastics since they were little girls. Also they have began to coach gymnastics in our local gym and they love it.

Have gymnists perform and teach tumbling moves… (altro)
