My acid test for language learning books actually has two parts: 1) it has to tell you how to say "Do you speak English?" because sometimes you're rushing out the door and that's all you have time for, and 2) it has to give you a FUCKING pronunciation key. This is an academic book, and so the latter failure is even more egregious. But it looks decent overall and gives lots of good descriptive information on Dutch for the structurally inclined.
