SUMMARY: The life and times of Pablo Picasso.

REVIEW: As far as biographies go, I thought that this book was interesting. I am not usually a fan of biographies (personally, I find them boring), but this one was very interesting. The pictures were colorful, and it also had a lot of useful information from Picasso's childhood all the way through his career and the later years of his life. However, I think children might possibly get frustrated with this book because the text can be hard to follow at times. This biography is definitely a good book for someone to read if they are interested in artists.… (altro)

A chronological story of Frank Lloyd Wright’s life starting with a short discussion of his farther and what type of person he was and describing Wright’s younger years up to when his parents divorced. It goes on to tell about his early work and success. How he left the country, his wife and children with a client’s wife and almost destroyed his career. Why and where he started his school and tells of his work on the Guggenheim museum. The book has photos of various works done by Wright throughout the world both commercial and residential.… (altro)
