Overall Opinion:
In the beginning stages of this read, I was tempted to drop this once or twice before finally becoming immersed with the story once “Alex” came into the picture. If you haven't figured it out already, C.J. Fallowfield's “Inescapable” has several sensitive subject matters such as domestic violence that could be uncomfortable to read for some people. The series showcased Alex trying to rebuild her life after being trapped in an abusive relationship with her ex-boyfriend Richard who later becomes more than determined to get his revenge. Settling into her new life, Alex meets Tate, a man determined to protect and shelter her from all the pain she has suffered from. Patient and understanding of the battered woman struggles, Tate become the ideal hero you can't help but root for. Their relationship is a back and forth battle, and Tate is doing everything in his power to allow Alex to become the “Tiger” he knows she can be. Furthermore despite my original reception of the series I was left impressed by the author ability to create a great story line and flaw characters. Overall, a read worth while.

So we are back with my favorite four and their red hot trip to paris. We find Lulu struggling to leave her precious children, for a special and long overdue time away with Luc…but I'm sure Luc will change her mind…Le Grand style.

Hunter is also trying to get to grip with his feeling, but he is still struggling to say those 3 important world's, even though he feels them. But he is also faced with Coco wanting a baby, but is terrified to give her the baby she craves.

OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS, this author has given me the best Christmas present EVER!! I absolutely love these couples and this book continues my need to know every facet of their lives…FOREVER! Yes, I do realize it is just fiction, but this author weaves such amazing tales, that you can't help be be caught in her web of deliciousness.

The story is hot and spicy and simply divine. It is well written and the characters…OMG!! They couldn't get any better and of course, all of this delicious story is set in the Domville!

Now, before I go any further I want to put out a disclaimer, Inescapable deals with tough issues of domestic violence, mind control and sadism, if you are not comfortable with any of those topics, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK!

Just one word sums up Inescapable in a nutshell....WOW! This book shook me to my core, I didn't know or even understand how this book would affect me, but as I sit here typing this review in tears, or feeling the pain for a fictional character, that escapes for a nightmare, only for the nightmare to come after her.

When it comes to the characters, the book heroine is Alex/Isabelle; and from the Innocent 11-year-old girl, sent to a home after the loss of parents, to an 18-year-old who just wants to better herself, to 9 years later, a prisoner and beyond, you follow along with Alex's story, praying that she will eventually be free. This story moved me in so many ways, and I don't even think I can express what is going on inside my head.

Now, normally I would go into the other characters, and their backgrounds, but I don't think we need to, I just want to say that this is a book that you will not want to put down, or for the story to ever be over!

I want to give a special kudos to the author C.J. Fallowfield for the talented writing, the in-depth research into these extremely tough subjects, and for giving us a story that not only lights a bigger spotlight on domestic violence, how it starts, the police restrictions, but to also do it in a manner that is sympathetic to the victim, be it fictional or not.

I give Inescapable 5 stars.
