I say read and/or browse because this book lends itself to either option very well. If you're in the mood to learn about the development of some of the models, the text is well written and to the point. If you're just in the mood to look at the pictures and perhaps glance at the specification boxes, that is equally fun.
I will admit to having a love of good books like this, commonly considered coffee table books. For topics I know a fair bit about they offer a fun visual excursion with, usually, key facts. More important to me are books on topics I find interesting but am not really into or have a lot of knowledge in. My knowledge of Moto Guzzi puts this book into that category for me. In these cases I get a nice introduction to the topic, often some history, and wonderful pictures to keep me engaged. I have found several new topics I would go on to explore from reading these types of books. This is a fine example of such a book.
Highly recommended for motorcycle enthusiasts and Moto Guzzi fans. Also a strong recommendation for those readers like me who have an interest in the history of major consumer brands such as motorcycles, automobiles, and many other items.
