Jade Falconer

A cute short story. Tanner wanted Brent badly enough to go to the extreme. Don't analyze this story too closely just enjoy the ride.

This story was okay. It was very short and, as a result, very rushed. I felt that the characters reached certain levels far, far too quickly within a twelve hour period of meeting each other. The reason for Jim to be introduced in Ricky's life had the potential to be interesting, but the resolution was kind of anti-climactic.

I absolutely love the concept of this story. Call me a geek but it was like a male version of Buffy The Vampire Slayer without superhuman powers. The ending was a little disappointing for me because the famous cliché of the vampire turning his human lover was also in effect in this book.

Story would have benefited by a few more chapters.
